Summer 2010 Edition
Each of us has the wonderful privilege, responsibility and joy to pray for the baptised and to set them a good example. The latter we can do in lots of different ways: by coming to church regularly ourselves, sharing our faith with those who are new, by visiting or giving a call to those whom we don?t see that often, or perhaps even inviting them into our homes. Let me encourage you to do these things, not as a burden, but out of thankfulness for the many ways in which God has blessed you.

Spring 2009 Edition
...Ted has devoted his life to teaching others how to resolve conflict biblically. For you and me as Christians, this is not an optional extra, but a requirement by which we live. God’s Word in Paul’s letter to the Corinthians, tells us that… because we have been made new "in Christ", who reconciled us to the Father, we are now called us to be “ambassadors of reconciliation" (1 Corinthians 5:16-21).

Winter 2009 Edition
During my recent leave, I had the opportunity to attend the National Lutheran School Pastors’ Conference in Adelaide. It was a wonderful time to listen and to learn from other school pastors, and in particular to hear from guest presenters who were there to address the theme, “Harnessing the Spiritual Energy of Staff”. - Pastor Joe

Autumn 2009 Edition
We exist by the grace of God and we live to eternity with all the saints, by the grace of God. We are saved by grace through faith in Christ says St Paul (Ephesians 2:8). But how do we receive such faith? Of course faith is a gift of the Holy Spirit, but it is also something that is passed on from one generation to the next. - Pastor Joe

Autumn 2008 Edition
As a church we are much more than just a building. In fact, our confessions do not even define church in this way! According to article 7 of the Augsburg Confession, the Church “is the assembly of all believers among whom the Gospel is preached in its purity and the Holy Sacraments are administered according to the Gospel”. - Pastor Joe.
